Among other countries, the Baltic States have once again witnessed nationalists on the march, shouting slogans that sound painfully familiar. One former Latvian SS fighter gives his perspective on the situation, while survivors from Salaspils, the Latvian concentration camp are disturbed and terrified by recent events and the government appears to be turning a blind eye to the former prisoners. Salaspils is a dark page in Latvian history, one that the authorities seem intent upon keeping closed forever.
